KOBAT-SAD collects and processes statistical data recorded by telecommunications network elements, particularly focusing on SS7 signaling traffic and TDR (Traffic Data Record). Based on the acquired data, analyses, statistics, and charts are generated, providing a clear picture of the network’s current state from a traffic engineering perspective. This includes identifying anomalies like traffic loops, broken connection paths, and addressing specific operator requirements. The historical data makes it possible to track trends, link occupancy prediction, and efficient transmission network reorganization.

The KOBAT-SAD system is equipped with a telecommunications traffic routing analysis function. It performs tasks related to verifying the correctness of traffic management according to the principles adopted by the operator. The collected data is analyzed to detect irregular situations such as traffic loops, broken connection paths, and other anomalies in network traffic.
The KOBAT-SAD system enables the maintenance of a database of customers covered by SLA agreements (monitoring service levels) as well as a database of hard-to-reach customers. Additionally, the system allows for maintaining a database of interconnection points with other operators and conducting detailed network traffic analysis of inter-operator traffic.
