What is the Perimeter Protection System?
Effective protection of the site or facilities from hazards
The Perimeter Protection System is designed to protect against unauthorized intrusions into industrial plants, civilian exclusion zones (airports, drinking water intakes, hazardous materials trading facilities, military facilities), as well as borders and stadiums. The main task of the perimeter protection system is to counter possible threats that could result in property damage, injury to people or disruption of the operation of a plant or facility.
How does the Perimeter Protection System work?
We take care of the level of security
Your company
Perimeter protection systems designed and implemented by WASKO are built from modules, the appropriate selection of which is the result of functional and financial analysis. This analysis takes into account the great diversity of protected objects. Both in terms of technology (mode of operation, area of operation, physical protection, etc.), as well as in terms of organization (applicable norms and security standards). The catalog of possible threats to such facilities includes many categories, both directly dependent on human actions (terrorism, vandalism, intentional damage), as well as those resulting from natural disasters and extreme weather conditions.

Elements of the Perimeter Protection System
One goal, many possibilities
Our engineers have implemented projects aimed at improving the security of facilities in both public institutions and private establishments.
We have our own security solutions – OpenEye SCADA integration platform, OpenEye Center access control system, and we also integrate components from external suppliers (closed circuit television, intrusion systems, access control systems, perimeter security systems, accreditation systems, radar, thermal imaging systems, etc.). In terms of securing property and people, we offer personal traffic control systems, which have been implemented in many plants and institutions. These systems make it possible to identify people, restricting access to selected rooms or zones, and visualize emergency conditions on the premises. Access devices prevent unauthorized persons from entering the premises, while allowing to control the movement of authorized persons in protected areas through their identification and registration.

Countering possible threats
In addition, passes through checkpoints are recorded, allowing monitoring of the current situation and generating detailed reports on selected or all events. Thanks to the passenger traffic control systems we have implemented, it is possible to provide security for thousands of event participants at many stadiums in the country, as well as at workplaces and government institutions. Our systems were also used during the Polish Presidency of the EU.
